Make your own Custom Cursor ADVANCED

First you need two important programs. Paint Shop Pro & Animation Shop.

Once you have the programs, create the image that you would like as a cursor. Make sure the background is transparent (it will look like a gray and white checkerboard) ALSO MAKE SURE THAT THE SIZE OF THE IMAGE IS LESS THAN 32×32 otherwise it won't work.

Then take that image and open it up in ANIMATION SHOP. Open the "animation wizard". Make sure that you set the size to 32×32. Keep clicking next until you get to upload image. Click on the picture that you want to become a cursor from your files. Then once it's open, resave it as a ".ani" file.

When you see it in your computer's folder it will look blurry. This is right. Then you just have to upload it to your server. If you need a place to upload the file, www.geocities.com works well. Just register to the site and you can upload your pictures there.

To get your cursor on your site, your going to have to copy and paste this code to your site. Change "IMAGEURLHERE.ani" to the url of the image used. (the .ani file- ex. http://www.geocities.com/username/butterflycursor.ani)
